Sesame Street had yet another parody of the great PBS series Mystery! which they entitled Mysterious Theatre. The real series was hosted by the acclaimed Vincent Price which the Muppets changed to Vincent Twice-Vincent Twice. While these particular shorts didn't have the dramatic relevance that Monsterpiece Theatre had, the influence of Agatha Christy and countless other stage mysteries were apparent.
The episodes focus on the foibles of a Sherlock Holmes parody - Sherlock Hemlock "the world's greatest detective" and his beloved dog Watson. Join him in the Mystery of the Missing Cat, Circle Search, and the Case of the Missing Toast.
