To Text or Not to Text: that is the qusetion.

NPR has recently done an article on the new book entitled Hamlet's Blackberry. The book revisits a popular topic: does all of our connecting technology in fact make us less connected. This article, however, has merit in our theater world beyond the fact that one of our favorite characters is in the title:

"We don't have any gaps, any breaks in which to make sense of it; do something new, creative with it; enjoy it," says author William Powers

His overall argument is not that technology is bad - in fact he's very pro-technology. His point is how we are using it is destroying conversation and our ability to process relationships.
