Billy Elliot to begin Non-Broadway Run in Chicago

In a statement released earlier today, Broadway In Chicago announced that Billy Elliot the Musical will launch a U.S. national tour with an extended run in Chicago. Performances will begin March 2010 at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre. Billy Elliot features music by Sir Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, choreography by Peter Darling and direction by Stephen Daldry. The show was the winner of 10 Tony Awards this year, including Best Musical.

  1. I've seen Billy Elliot two times. I really enjoyed the show. Last year I got a cheap ticket and I went, it was really a great show. I will go see it for the third time
