Actor Patrick Swayze succomed to pancreatic cancer tonight. He was diagnosed with the disease in January of 2008 and held his own for a while, but his health began to decline at the beginning of this year.Swayze got his break when he took over the role of Danny Zuko in the Broadway production of Grease. He also played Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls on the West End in 2006.
Swayze was 57.
