In Memorandum: Page Hearn

Long time Chicago actor Page Hearn died on May 17 in New York City. Hearn had been Managing Director of City Lit Theatre between 1988-2005 before moving to New York. He will be most remembered for his multiple portrayals of the butler Jeeves throughout his tenure with City Lit.

I had the chance to meet him before he moved from Chicago. I remember him being warm, kind, and charming. His performance in the Ferenc Molnar's The Play's the Thing was picture perfect and simply delightful.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Hearn at City Lit Theatre on June 30.

Hearn was 49.
